ByteFit（以下「本アプリ」）は、画像を指定した目標サイズ以下に圧縮する iOS アプリです。本アプリは、開発者個人 (Masamichi Ueta) が運営しています。本アプリは、ユーザーのプライバシーを最優先に考え、いかなる個人情報も利用データも収集しません。

1. 収集する情報

本アプリは、ユーザーに関するいかなる情報も収集しません。開発者のサーバーや第三者サービスへデータを送信することもありません。アカウント登録は不要で、本アプリは外部ネットワーク通信を一切行いません。

2. 画像へのアクセス

• 画像は、iOS 標準の写真ピッカー、ファイル選択、共有シート（共有拡張）、ショートカットのいずれかを通じて、ユーザーが選んだものだけが本アプリに渡されます。本アプリにフォトライブラリ全体へのアクセス権は付与されません。
• 選択された画像の圧縮は、すべてお使いの端末内で完結します。画像やその内容が外部に送信・アップロードされることはありません。
• 「写真への追加」権限は、圧縮後の画像をユーザー自身の写真ライブラリに保存する目的にのみ使用します。

3. データの保存

本アプリは、画像やユーザーデータを永続的に保存しません。アカウント・データベース・iCloud 同期・解析基盤のいずれも持ちません。圧縮した画像は端末内の一時フォルダに出力され、アプリの次回起動時（共有拡張では処理の終了時）に削除されます。書き出した画像は、ユーザーが保存または共有を選んだ場所（写真ライブラリや共有先のアプリ）にのみ残ります。

端末内には、最後に使った設定（目標サイズ・単位・出力形式・メタデータの扱い・1MB の定義）のみを、アプリ設定として保存します。この設定は、本アプリと共有拡張が同じ端末内で共有するためのもので、画像の内容や個人を特定する情報は含まれず、端末の外へ送信されることもありません。

4. 画像の共有

共有は、ユーザーが iOS の共有シートなどを使って能動的に行う場合にのみ発生します。共有するかどうか、また共有先は、ユーザーご自身が選択します。本アプリが自動的に画像を送信することはありません。

5. トラッキング・広告・第三者

本アプリは以下を一切行いません。

• ユーザー追跡 (App Tracking Transparency 対象の処理)
• 解析・アナリティクス SDK の導入
• 広告の表示
• 第三者 SDK へのデータ提供
• 外部サーバーとのネットワーク通信

6. データの削除

本アプリはユーザーデータを保持しないため、削除すべきデータが外部に存在することはありません。本アプリを端末からアンインストールすると、端末内の設定と一時データも削除されます。すでに保存した画像は、iOS の写真 App などからユーザーご自身で管理・削除できます。

7. ポリシーの変更

本ポリシーは、機能追加や法令改正等に応じて更新する場合があります。重要な変更があった場合は、本ページ上で告知します。

Privacy Policy (English)

ByteFit (the "App") is an iOS application that compresses images to fit under a target file size. The App is developed and maintained by an individual developer (Masamichi Ueta). We put your privacy first, and the App does not collect any personal information or usage data.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not collect any information about you. It does not transmit any data to the developer's servers or to third parties. No account is required, and the App performs no external network communication whatsoever.

2. Access to Images

• The App receives only the images you choose, through the standard iOS photo picker, the file picker, the share sheet (the Share extension), or Shortcuts. The App is not granted access to your entire photo library.
• All compression of the selected images happens entirely on your device. Your images and their contents are never transmitted or uploaded.
• The "Add to Photos" permission is used solely to save the compressed image to your own photo library.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

The App does not persistently store images or user data. It has no account, database, iCloud sync, or analytics backend. Compressed images are written to a temporary folder on your device and deleted the next time the App launches (for the Share extension, when it finishes). Exported images remain only where you choose to save or share them (your photo library or the destination app).

The only thing kept on your device is the last settings you used (target size, unit, output format, how metadata is handled, and the definition of 1 MB), stored as app settings. They are shared between the App and its Share extension on the same device. They contain no image content or personal information and are never sent off your device.

4. Sharing Images

Sharing only occurs when you actively use the iOS share sheet or a similar feature. You decide whether to share and where to. The App never sends images on its own.

5. Tracking and Advertising

The App does not perform any of the following:

• User tracking as defined by App Tracking Transparency
• Analytics SDK integration
• Advertising
• Sharing data with third-party SDKs
• Network communication with external servers

6. Data Deletion

Because the App keeps no user data, there is no data held externally to delete. Uninstalling the App removes its settings and any temporary data from your device. Images you have already saved can be managed and deleted by you in the iOS Photos app or wherever you saved them.

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated to reflect new features or legal requirements. Material changes will be announced on this page.
